Nuvectis NVCT Reports Complete Responses in BRAF-Mutated Glioma Study; Shares Fall 8%
Nuvectis Pharma (NVCT) reported positive expanded Phase 1b data for NXP200, a second-generation BRAF inhibitor, in recurrent or progressive BRAF V600-mutated gliomas, presented at the 2026 ESMO Congress. The stock fell 8.08% to $18.43. In 27 patients — 20 with high-grade and seven with low-grade glioma — NXP200 achieved an objective response rate of 40% in high-grade glioma, including three complete responses, and 42.9% in low-grade glioma, including one complete response. Deep responses exceeding 80% tumor burden reduction occurred in seven of eight high-grade responders and two of three low-grade responders. Overall, 81.5% of patients had tumor reduction and the disease control rate reached 85.2%. Median duration of response in high-grade glioma was 6.97 months; median overall survival was 17.15 months, with 12-month survival rates of 95% in high-grade and 100% in low-grade cohorts. Among 28 safety-evaluable patients, 14.3% had Grade 3 or higher treatment-related adverse events; none led to discontinuation or death. Nuvectis licensed ex-Greater China rights from Haisco Pharmaceutical Group in June 2026 and plans a U.S. IND filing by year-end 2026.
