Nvidia (NVDA) said it will invest $3 billion in Meta's (META) equity offering as the two companies expanded a partnership on Muse AI agents and model training, the companies announced. Meta plans to broaden deployment of Nvidia's computing and networking equipment to support next-generation AI agent services. The collaboration builds on Meta's existing Nvidia infrastructure, with both firms optimizing model workflows to improve performance and lower total operating costs. Meta will expand deployment of the Vera Rubin platform and Vera processors, and adopt Spectrum-X Ethernet and BlueField-4 to improve data center networking efficiency and data throughput. The partnership may extend to AI agent security management, with the companies considering Nvidia's OpenShell reference architecture for secure agent deployment and Sentry for monitoring agent behavior. When Meta disclosed its fundraising plan on October 26, Nvidia, AMD and Broadcom had only expressed non-binding subscription intentions; Nvidia has now disclosed its specific investment amount. The investment remains subject to closing conditions.
