Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said demand for capital to fund AI infrastructure far outstrips available supply, as shares of GPU rental providers CoreWeave (CRWV-US) and Nebius (NBIS-US) extended losses at the company's Berlin GTC conference. CoreWeave closed down about 10% on Thursday and Nebius fell roughly 7%, continuing a volatile stretch driven by concerns over heavy borrowing. An AI infrastructure executive said the influx of companies without credit ratings is unsettling investors. Huang said demand for neoclouds remains extremely strong on fundamentals, though Nvidia holds equity stakes in several such firms. Nvidia also unveiled DSX POD, a modular container integrating seven Vera Rubin racks with networking, power and liquid cooling, assembled and tested at the factory and deployable within 14 days. Goldman Sachs estimates AI-related capital spending on compute, data centers and power could total about $7.6 trillion between 2026 and 2031. Huang put the cost of a 1-gigawatt data center at roughly $50 billion.
