Star tech analyst Dan Ives unveiled his top stock picks for 2027, naming Nvidia (NVDA), Microsoft (MSFT), Palantir (PLTR) and Apple (AAPL) as preferred plays on an AI buildout he said investors are underestimating. In a post on X, Ives said the AI revolution at this stage "depends on supply, not demand," adding that the buildout remains in its early innings. His team wrote that AI is no longer a single-sector theme but one touching "capital, power and policy across the entire economy." The call came as the "Magnificent Seven" rebounded from an earlier slump. On Tuesday, those stocks helped push the S&P 500 to its first record since August 13, while the Roundhill Magnificent Seven ETF and Nasdaq Composite notched consecutive closing highs. Ives initiated coverage on 49 tech stocks, assigning outperform ratings with price targets of $400 for Alphabet and Apple, $300 for Amazon, $900 for Meta, $615 for Microsoft, $300 for Nvidia, $500 for Tesla and $225 for SpaceX. SoftBank and CrowdStrike (CRWD) also received outperform ratings, at $290 and $335 respectively. The team expects AI infrastructure supply constraints to persist "at least into 2027."
