NVR Q3 Profit Falls to $248.61 Million as Revenue Drops 8.2%

NVR Inc. (NVR) reported lower third-quarter earnings and revenue, with profit declining to $248.61 million, or $89.45 per share, from $342.69 million, or $112.33 per share, a year earlier. Revenue for the period fell 8.2% to $2.349 billion from $2.560 billion last year, the homebuilder said. The results reflect weaker top-line performance and a sharp year-over-year decline in per-share earnings.
