Oculis Holding AG (OCS) said it will present new biomarker analyses from the Phase 2 ACUITY trial of privosegtor in patients with acute optic neuritis at the 10th Joint ACTRIMS-ECTRIMS Meeting, scheduled for Oct. 21-23, 2026, in Toronto. The presentation is set for Oct. 22. The late-breaking abstract, to be presented by principal investigator Professor Céline Louapre, will examine plasma neurofilament light chain (NfL) and glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP), biomarkers tied to neuroaxonal injury and neuroinflammation. The previously reported trial showed improvements in visual function, preservation of retinal structures and reduced blood neurofilament levels. Privosegtor, formerly OCS-05, is an investigational peptoid small molecule holding FDA Breakthrough Therapy and EMA PRIME designations. Oculis is advancing it through the PIONEER registrational program, which includes two optic neuritis trials and a separate trial in non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy, with a planned IND for acute multiple sclerosis relapses. OCS closed at $7.32, up 0.41%.
