Old National Bancorp Posts Higher Q3 Net Income of $249.96 Million, ONB Shares Slip Pre-Market

Old National Bancorp (ONB) reported Wednesday third-quarter net income applicable to common shares of $249.96 million, or $0.66 per share, up from $178.53 million, or $0.46 per share, a year earlier. Excluding one-time items, earnings were $249.7 million, or $0.66 per share. Net interest income rose to $584.29 million from $574.61 million, while noninterest income declined to $128.45 million from $130.46 million. Revenue grew to $720.4 million from $713.05 million in the prior year, and the provision for credit losses increased to $33.58 million from $26.74 million. ONB shares were down nearly 1% in pre-market trading after closing at $25.34 on Tuesday on the Nasdaq.
