Pinterest Q3 Profit Falls to $21.5 Million as Revenue Grows 11.8% to $1.17 Billion

Pinterest Inc. (PINS) reported third-quarter earnings that dropped to $21.515 million, or $0.04 per share, from $92.108 million, or $0.13 per share, in the same period last year. Excluding items, the company posted adjusted earnings of $270.285 million, or $0.46 per share. Revenue rose 11.8% to $1.173 billion from $1.049 billion a year earlier. On a GAAP basis, earnings fell to $21.515 million from $92.108 million, with EPS at $0.04 versus $0.13 last year. Pinterest guided next-quarter revenue to a range of $1.425 billion to $1.475 billion.
