Propanc Biopharma Sets 1-for-10 Reverse Split for October 26 to Regain Nasdaq Compliance; Shares Fall 10%
Propanc Biopharma (PPCB) said its board approved a 1-for-10 reverse stock split, effective before market open on October 26, 2026, to restore compliance with Nasdaq continued listing requirements, including the $1.00 minimum bid price rule. The stock fell 10.37% to $0.28. The split will combine every 10 existing shares into one, cutting outstanding shares from about 10.33 million to 1.03 million. Fractional shares will be rounded up per shareholder. PPCB will keep its ticker on Nasdaq under a new CUSIP, 74346N883. CEO James Nathanielsz said the move supports efforts to regain listing compliance and advance development plans. The company is preparing a Phase 1b first-in-human study of its lead candidate, PRP, in up to 50 patients with advanced solid tumors, targeted for the first quarter of 2027. PRP is designed to target cancer stem cells through proenzyme activation to address recurrence and metastasis.
