PPG Industries Q3 Profit Rises to $473 Million, Revenue Up 6.6%

PPG Industries Inc. (PPG) reported third-quarter earnings of $473 million, or $2.12 per share, up from $444 million, or $1.96 per share, a year earlier, the company said. Excluding one-time items, adjusted earnings came to $502 million, or $2.25 per share. Revenue rose 6.6% to $4.353 billion from $4.082 billion last year. The company issued fourth-quarter EPS guidance of $7.90 to $8.10. All figures reflect continuing operations.
