PriceSmart Q4 Profit Rises to $37.6 Million as Revenue Climbs 14%

PriceSmart, Inc. (PSMT) reported higher fourth-quarter profit, with net income rising to $37.638 million, or $1.21 per share, from $31.541 million, or $1.02 per share, a year earlier. Revenue for the period increased 14.0% to $1.516 billion from $1.330 billion last year, the warehouse club operator said. The results reflect growth in both the company's top and bottom lines compared with the prior-year quarter.
