Rogers Communication Posts Q3 Earnings of $344.4 Million, Beats Analyst Estimates

Rogers Communication Inc. (RCI) on Friday reported third-quarter earnings of $344.4 million, or 63 cents per share, surpassing Wall Street expectations. Adjusted for one-time gains and costs, earnings came to 92 cents per share, topping the average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research, which projected 84 cents per share. The Toronto-based communications and media company posted revenue of $3.89 billion for the period, also exceeding Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks had expected $3.78 billion.
