Roper Technologies Q3 adjusted EPS of $5.89 beats estimates; revenue of $2.17 billion misses

Roper Technologies Inc. (ROP) on Thursday reported third-quarter profit of $484.7 million, or $4.88 per share, with adjusted earnings of $5.89 per share topping the $5.79 average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research. The Sarasota, Florida-based industrial equipment maker posted revenue of $2.17 billion, falling short of the $2.18 billion forecast by six analysts surveyed by Zacks. For the current quarter ending in December, Roper expects per-share earnings of $5.95 to $6. The company guided full-year earnings to a range of $22.35 to $22.40 per share.
