Republic Services Q3 Earnings Rise to $592 Million, Revenue Up 8.2% to $4.559 Billion

Republic Services (RSG) reported third-quarter earnings of $592 million, or $1.93 per share, up from $550 million, or $1.76 per share, a year earlier. Excluding items, adjusted earnings came to $595 million, or $1.94 per share. Revenue for the period rose 8.2% to $4.559 billion from $4.212 billion last year. The waste-management company guided full-year revenue to a range of $17.425 billion to $17.475 billion.
