Starbucks Posts $677.2 Million Fiscal Q4 Profit, Adjusted EPS Tops Estimates but Revenue Falls Short

Starbucks Corp. (SBUX) on Thursday reported fiscal fourth-quarter net income of $677.2 million, or 59 cents per share, with adjusted earnings of 80 cents per share beating the 73-cent average estimate from nine analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research. Revenue for the period was $9.14 billion, missing the $9.27 billion forecast by seven Zacks analysts. The Seattle-based coffee chain guided full-year earnings to a range of $3.15 to $3.25 per share.
