Stifel Financial Corp. (SF) reported third-quarter net income of $224.82 million, or $1.40 per share, up from $202.05 million, or $1.22 per share, a year earlier. Excluding items, the company posted adjusted earnings of $234.09 million, or $1.46 per share. Revenue for the quarter totaled $1.635 billion, compared with $1.634 million last year.
