Super Micro Computer Inc. (SMCI) said Thursday it introduced a fully liquid-cooled rack integrating 256 of Nvidia Corp.'s (NVDA) Vera CPUs, targeting agentic AI, reinforcement learning and data processing workloads. The rack is designed to complement Nvidia's Vera Rubin NVL72 platform or run as a standalone system, supporting up to 22,500 concurrent agent sandboxes. It uses Nvidia's third-generation MGX rack design, BlueField-4 data processing units for networking and security, and can run on traditional AC feeds or an 800-volt DC architecture. Supermicro said the system supports Nvidia's OpenShell Reference Architecture and Open Agent Safety Platform for monitoring and governing AI agent activity. The rack is available for quotation immediately. Supermicro shares fell 3.20% to $34.43 in pre-market Nasdaq trading, after closing Wednesday's regular session up 9.55%.
