SanDisk Posts 378% Revenue Growth, Announces 8-for-1 Stock Split
SanDisk (SNDK) said Thursday it will execute an 8-for-1 stock split effective November 19, alongside fiscal first-quarter results that beat analyst estimates. Shares fell more than 3% in after-hours trading. Revenue for the quarter ended September reached $11 billion, up 378% year over year and above the $10.7 billion analysts expected, according to FactSet. Adjusted earnings per share surged to $52.60 versus the $46.67 consensus, while adjusted gross margin rose to 85.1% from 84.6% in the prior quarter. The company guided second-quarter revenue to $12.2 billion to $12.6 billion, compared with the $12.3 billion analysts forecast. The stock closed at $1,330 on Thursday and has gained more than 2,600% since SanDisk's spinoff from Western Digital (WDC) in February 2025. It is up over 450% this year, trailing only Moderna among S&P 500 components. CEO David Goeckeler attributed growth to sustained demand, with the data center business expanding faster than other segments.
