Crypto traders have launched an unofficial Solana meme coin named "Dacity Coin" after a branding reference appeared in the Grand Theft Auto 6 launch trailer, driving its market capitalization to a $15 million peak. The token has no official ties to Rockstar Games. Traders are speculating the in-game coin will feature in GTA 6 missions and potentially function as a tradeable in-game asset, similar to the stock market mechanic in GTA V. Leaked gameplay from hacker "Cyberleek" purportedly shows protagonist Lucia performing stunts to attract investment to Dacity Coin, tied to an in-game brand called AudaCity. One trader holds $285,000 in unrealized profits from a $20,000 investment, according to Pump.fun. Traders acknowledge the position could sharply reverse, and Rockstar did not respond to a request for comment. The game is slated for a November release.
