Global equity funds attracted a net $10.19 billion in the week ended October 28, marking a sixth consecutive week of inflows, though the pace slowed from $25.06 billion the prior week, according to LSEG Lipper data. A rebound in AI and chip stocks, led by South Korea's SK Hynix following record quarterly profit, bolstered demand for technology and Asian funds. Asian equity funds led regional inflows with $9.9 billion in net purchases, down from $11.58 billion the previous week. European funds added $4.54 billion, while U.S. equity funds saw net withdrawals of $6.65 billion. Technology sector funds drew $5.5 billion, up from $5.07 billion. Global bond funds posted a six-week low of $2.72 billion in net inflows. Short-term bond funds recorded $2.67 billion in outflows, their first net sales since April 15. Money market funds saw $38.5 billion in net outflows, reversing the prior week's $16.95 billion inflow. Gold and precious metals funds lost $1.51 billion, while emerging-market equity funds drew $2.2 billion for a third straight week of gains.
