Stewart Information Services Q3 Profit Falls to $30.3 Million Despite 13% Revenue Growth

Stewart Information Services Corp. (STC) reported third-quarter net income of $30.321 million, or $0.98 per share, down from $44.259 million, or $1.55 per share, in the same period last year. Excluding certain items, the company posted adjusted earnings of $41.2 million, or $1.33 per share. Revenue for the quarter rose 13.0% to $900.679 million from $796.916 million a year earlier, even as the bottom line declined.
