Constellation Brands Q2 Profit Rises to $565.8 Million, Revenue Up 6.1%

Constellation Brands Inc. (STZ-B) reported higher second-quarter earnings, with net income rising to $565.8 million, or $3.32 per share, from $466.0 million, or $2.65 per share, a year earlier. Excluding items, the company posted adjusted earnings of $637.3 million, or $3.74 per share. Revenue for the period grew 6.1% to $2.816 billion from $2.653 billion last year. Constellation Brands issued full-year EPS guidance of $11.20 to $11.90.
