Molson Coors confirmed Monday that Matthew Hook will become chief supply chain officer for the Americas effective Oct. 12, succeeding Brian Erhardt, who is retiring after 25 years with the beverage maker and will move into a senior advisory role. Hook, a 27-year company veteran, most recently served as vice president of manufacturing operations for North America. He joined Molson Coors in 1999 as a production management trainee at a Toronto brewery and has held roles across manufacturing, engineering, logistics, procurement, import/export and demand planning, including chief supply chain officer for Canada. CEO Rahul Goyal said in a letter to distributors that he asked Hook to prioritize ongoing supply chain modernization work. Erhardt will remain in an advisory capacity into next year to support the transition. The leadership change comes as Molson Coors adjusts its product mix, rolling out Coors 0.0 nationwide and expanding nonalcoholic brand Naked Life.
