Teradyne Q3 Profit Rises to $342.4 Million as Revenue Jumps 69.7% to $1.31 Billion

Teradyne Inc. (TER) reported third-quarter GAAP net income of $342.4 million, or $2.17 per share, up from $119.6 million, or $0.75 per share, a year earlier. Revenue rose 69.7% to $1.305 billion from $769.2 million. Excluding items, the company posted adjusted earnings of $359.9 million, or $2.29 per share. For the next quarter, Teradyne guided earnings per share of $1.95 to $2.25 on revenue of $1.250 billion to $1.350 billion.
