Tenet Healthcare (THC) Posts $1B Q3 Profit, Beats Wall Street Estimates on Earnings and Revenue

Tenet Healthcare Corp. (THC) on Thursday reported third-quarter earnings of $1 billion, with per-share profit of $12.41, surpassing analyst expectations. Adjusted for one-time gains and costs, earnings were $6.64 per share, well above the $4.60 average estimate from seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research. The Dallas-based hospital operator posted revenue of $5.63 billion, also beating the $5.47 billion forecast from five Zacks analysts. Tenet expects full-year earnings in the range of $22.05 to $23.01 per share, with revenue between $22.05 billion and $22.45 billion.
