Twilio Q3 Profit Rises to $161.2 Million as Revenue Climbs 19.9% to $1.56 Billion

Twilio Inc. (TWLO) reported third-quarter net income of $161.157 million, or $1.00 per share, up from $37.248 million, or $0.23 per share, in the same period last year. Excluding items, the cloud communications company posted adjusted earnings of $266.887 million, or $1.65 per share. Revenue rose 19.9% to $1.559 billion from $1.300 billion a year earlier. For the next quarter, Twilio guided earnings of $1.48 to $1.53 per share and revenue of $1.595 billion to $1.605 billion. The company projected full-year revenue growth of 20%.
