Textron Aviation Wins 21-Aircraft Cessna Order from Civil Air Patrol

Textron Aviation Inc., a subsidiary of Textron Inc. (TXT), said Wednesday that the Civil Air Patrol ordered 21 additional Cessna piston aircraft, with deliveries expected to be completed in 2027. The order comprises seven Cessna Skyhawk 172s, 11 Cessna Skylane 182s, two Cessna Turbo Skylane T182Ts and one Cessna Turbo Stationair HD 206. The aircraft will support emergency response, training and community missions across the U.S. The Civil Air Patrol is a nonprofit organization and the U.S. Air Force Auxiliary that handles search and rescue, disaster response and aviation education. Textron shares rose 0.44% to $77.48 in pre-market trading on the New York Stock Exchange.
