United Bankshares Q3 Profit Falls to $128.7M Despite 0.5% Revenue Gain

United Bankshares Inc. (UBSI) reported third-quarter net income of $128.70 million, or $0.94 per share, down from $130.75 million, or $0.92 per share, a year earlier, the company announced. Revenue rose 0.5% to $325.09 million from $323.32 million. Despite the lower net income, per-share earnings improved as a result of a reduced share count.
