UMB Financial Corp. (UMBF) reported third-quarter net income of $278.1 million, or $3.56 per share, on Tuesday, exceeding the average estimate of $3.22 per share from seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research. The Kansas City, Missouri-based bank holding company posted revenue of $1.13 billion for the period. Revenue net of interest expense came in at $781.1 million, also topping Street forecasts of $749.9 million from six analysts surveyed by Zacks.
