Visa Q4 Profit Rises to $5.32 Billion as Revenue Climbs 11.7%

Visa Inc. (V) reported a fourth-quarter profit of $5.318 billion, or $2.65 per share, up from $4.681 billion, or $2.27 per share, a year earlier, the payments company said. Excluding items, adjusted earnings came in at $5.425 billion, or $2.71 per share. Revenue for the quarter rose 11.7% to $9.617 billion from $8.609 billion in the prior-year period.
