Visteon Corp. (VC) returned to profitability in the third quarter, posting net income of $5 million, or $0.19 per share, versus a year-earlier net loss of $11 million, or $40 per share. Despite the swing to profit, shares traded 5.57% lower at $80.11 on the Nasdaq after the company cut its full-year adjusted EBITDA outlook. Net sales rose 6% to $970 million from $917 million, but adjusted EBITDA fell to $46 million from $119 million, reflecting supply chain execution challenges. The company lowered its 2026 adjusted EBITDA guidance to $370 million-$410 million from $455 million-$495 million, citing $77 million in exceptional warranty charges incurred during the quarter. Visteon raised its 2026 sales guidance to $3.80 billion-$3.85 billion from $3.63 billion-$3.83 billion. It secured $0.9 billion in new business, driven by display product demand and growth in India, and completed a $200 million accelerated share repurchase program.
