Valley National Bancorp Posts Higher Q3 Profit, Revenue Up 14.3%

Valley National Bancorp (VLY) reported third-quarter earnings of $198.96 million, or $0.36 per share, up from $155.71 million, or $0.28 per share, in the same period last year. Adjusted earnings, excluding items, came in at $199.03 million, or $0.36 per share, for the period. Revenue rose 14.3% to $584.15 million from $511.11 million a year earlier, according to the company's GAAP results.
