WEX Partners With Euclid AI to Automate Trucking Back-Office Operations
WEX (NYSE: WEX) said Tuesday it is partnering with San Francisco-based Euclid AI to deploy AI agents for its over-the-road trucking customers, targeting administrative automation and steep cuts in per-transaction costs. The announcement came at the WEX OTR Summit in Jacksonville, Florida. Euclid said its technology has enabled fleet managers to handle five to 10 times more work while reducing costs per transaction by 80% to 90% in existing production deployments. Its Precision Agents process bills of lading, proof-of-delivery documents, driver qualification records and compliance paperwork, and manage communications among drivers, customers and dispatchers. WEX did not announce a deployment schedule or pricing for the AI services. Separately, WEX said it recently launched a cardless fueling network operating at Pilot Flying J, Love's, TravelCenters of America, Maverik and SCI terminals, and is redesigning its eManager fleet management platform alongside a unified authentication system.
