West Fraser Timber Narrows Q3 Loss to C$80 Million as Revenue Rises 4.3%

West Fraser Timber Co. Ltd. (WFG.TO) reported a third-quarter loss of C$80 million, or C$1.03 per share, improving from a loss of C$204 million, or C$2.63 per share, a year earlier. Revenue for the period rose 4.3% to C$1.363 billion from C$1.307 billion in the prior-year quarter, the company said. The results reflect a narrower bottom-line deficit on higher sales compared with the same quarter last year.
