Weatherford Q3 Profit Tops Estimates at $1.66 Per Share, Revenue Beats at $1.14 Billion

Weatherford International Inc. (WFRD) on Tuesday reported third-quarter earnings of $120 million, or $1.66 per share, surpassing Wall Street expectations. The Houston-based oilfield service company's results beat the average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research, which projected earnings of $1.21 per share. Revenue for the period came in at $1.14 billion, also exceeding Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks had expected $1.13 billion.
