W. P. Carey Q3 Profit Slips to $140.95 Million as EPS Falls to $0.61

W. P. Carey Inc. (WPC) reported third-quarter net income of $140.950 million, or $0.61 per share, down from $140.996 million, or $0.64 per share, a year earlier, the real estate investment trust announced. Revenue for the period rose 9.0% to $467.426 million from $429.016 million in the same quarter last year. The GAAP results show earnings essentially flat year over year in dollar terms, while per-share profit declined, reflecting a larger share count.
